1. General Conditions

By entering this prize draw you agree to the following terms and conditions and confirm that you have read the Prematch privacy policy (https://prematchapp.com/data-privacy-en). PREMATCH Sports GmbH, Brüsseler Str. 21, Mittelhaus, 3rd floor, 50674 Cologne, Germany (“Prematch”), is running a prize draw during the promotional period from 8 August 2026, 10:00 (BST) until 23 August 2026, 23:00 (BST), offering a cash prize of £850 towards a team party to start the season. The sole promoter of this prize draw is Prematch. Participation is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions. By entering, the participant accepts these terms and conditions. The closing date for entries is 23 August 2026, 23:00 (BST).

Entry is open only to natural persons who are aged 18 or over at the time of entry and who are resident in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). Entry requires an active user account in the Prematch app and assignment to a team within the app. Automated entry services are not eligible. Employees of PREMATCH Sports GmbH and their relatives are excluded from entry. Multiple entries by the same person via more than one user account are not permitted.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entry is free; collecting the cards within the app does not require any payment, and downloading or using the Prematch app is available free of charge (any data charges from the participant’s network provider may apply).

2. How to Enter, Draw Mechanic & Prize

During the promotional period, a total of three (3) card symbols – two (2) yellow cards and one (1) red card – will appear within the Prematch app at various times. When a participant taps a card symbol within the app, that card is deemed “collected” for that user account. Each collected card counts as one (1) entry into the prize draw.

Entries are counted at team level. The team assignment is determined by the team name stored in the Prematch app. For example, if four members of a team each collect all three cards, that team receives a total of twelve (12) entries. The more cards the members of a team collect in total, the higher that team’s chance of winning.

To support participation, push notifications may be sent during the promotional period to indicate that a card is hidden in the app. Receiving push notifications is not a condition of entry. It is the participant’s sole responsibility to enable push notifications and/or to open the app regularly. Missing a card symbol – for any reason, and in particular due to disabled notifications – is at the participant’s own risk and gives rise to no claim against Prematch.

Entry also requires a valid WhatsApp-enabled mobile telephone number to be provided via the entry form supplied. This number is required to notify the winner. Entry is not possible without a valid mobile number.

The prize consists of a cash amount of £850 towards a team party to start the season. One (1) winning team will be drawn. There is no cash alternative for individual members, and the prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable; it is awarded solely as a contribution to the winning team. Prematch reserves the right to offer further prizes.

The winning team will be determined within 7 days after the end of the promotion. The draw is made at random from all validly collected entries; a team is included in the draw in proportion to its number of entries. Once the winning team has been determined, one member will be selected at random from its participating members and contacted as the point of contact via WhatsApp. That member will provide Prematch with the information required for payment (in particular bank details for the transfer of the cash prize). If, within 48 hours of the WhatsApp message being sent and after two requests, Prematch does not receive all information required to allocate the prize, the claim to the prize lapses and Prematch is free to determine another team or another member.

The winner may incur incidental costs in claiming the prize. The winning team or recipient is solely responsible for any tax due on the prize.

Prematch expressly reserves the right to cancel or terminate the prize draw early, without prior notice and without giving reasons, in particular where circumstances arise that would disrupt or prevent the proper running of the prize draw, or where proper administration cannot be ensured for technical (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation, or hardware and/or software errors) or legal reasons. Insofar as permitted by law, recourse to the courts in respect of the conduct of the draw itself is excluded.

3. Data Protection

3.1 Controller for data collection and processing

Prematch collects and processes your data as the controller within the meaning of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

3.2 Data processed and purpose of processing

Prematch collects and processes your data for the purpose of properly running and administering the prize draw, including notifying the winner and paying out the cash prize. For this purpose Prematch processes the following personal data:

• your WhatsApp-enabled mobile telephone number;

• your team assignment (team name in the app) and the identifier held in your user account;

• the number of cards (entries) collected per user account and per team.

In the event of a win, the information required for payment from the drawn team member (in particular name and bank details) is additionally processed. Processing of this data is necessary to perform the prize-draw relationship with you and is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR. Without this data we cannot run the prize draw or allocate the prize.

3.3 In the event of a win

In the event of a win, the winning team agrees that the team name and any photo, image and video recordings created in connection with the team party may be published on the platforms used by Prematch (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). This includes announcement within the app, on the operator’s website and on its social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok). Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal should be sent in writing to hello@prematchapp.de.

3.4 Sharing of data

To run the prize draw, Prematch may use technical service providers (processors), in particular for sending messages (e.g. WhatsApp) and for paying out the cash prize (e.g. payment/banking service providers). Data is shared only to the extent necessary to fulfil the purpose. Where required by law, it may be necessary to collect additional data and to store it for a legally prescribed period; beyond that, the data will not be processed or shared and will be deleted at the earliest possible time.

In addition, the participant agrees to be informed by PREMATCH Sports GmbH via WhatsApp and email about Prematch’s own offers, programmes and partner collaborations. This consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR) may be withdrawn at any time by emailing hello@prematchapp.de. Withdrawing this marketing consent does not affect your entry into the prize draw.

3.5 Data retention period

Prematch stores the data collected in connection with the prize draw only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the relevant purpose. After the prize draw has ended and the prize has been paid out, the data will generally be deleted after one year, unless it is needed beyond that point or Prematch is required to store it for longer due to legal provisions and/or official or court orders.

3.6 Your rights

You may request access to the data stored about you (Article 15 UK GDPR) and request rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17) and restriction of processing (Article 18), insofar as this is legally permissible and possible within the existing contractual relationship. You also have a right to data portability (Article 20 UK GDPR).

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by the same means by which you gave it; the lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected (Article 7(3) UK GDPR). You may object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation where the processing is based on legitimate interests (Article 21 UK GDPR). To exercise your rights, an email to hello@prematchapp.de is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority in the UK is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, United Kingdom (www.ico.org.uk).

4. Exclusion of Manipulation and Automated Entry

Cards that are not collected through natural, manual user interaction within the app will not count as entries. In particular, the use of bots, scripts, automated or manipulative methods, the creation of multiple user accounts by the same person, false information regarding team assignment, and any other influence on the prize draw that is capable of gaining an unfair advantage for oneself or others are prohibited. Where there are legitimate grounds – including reasonable suspicion – Prematch is entitled to exclude participants from entry, to declare collected entries invalid, and to withhold prizes already promised or reclaim prizes already awarded, including retrospectively.

5. Limitation of Liability

Prematch is released from all obligations upon payment or provision of the prize, unless an earlier point in time results from these provisions.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits Prematch’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to the paragraph above, Prematch is liable only for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, and, in the case of ordinary negligence, only for breach of a material contractual obligation (i.e. an obligation the fulfilment of which makes the proper running of the prize draw possible in the first place and on whose observance participants may regularly rely); in that case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Prematch is not liable for defects in title or quality of the prize. Prematch is further not liable for technical faults, outages or delays (e.g. in the display of the card symbols, the sending of push or WhatsApp messages, or the availability of the app) that lie outside its area of responsibility.

6. Further Rules, Changes to the Terms & Miscellaneous

Prematch reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions in the event of significantly changed circumstances, in particular where this is necessary for technical or legal reasons to ensure proper administration.

This prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes wholly or partly invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a gap in these terms.

This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Apple, Google or TikTok. Each participant fully releases these platforms from any claims arising from participation in the prize draw.
